Under the Affordable Care Act (ACA, commonly known as the ObamaCare), Americans making between 100% and 400% of the federal poverty level may qualify for a health insurance subsidy. We can help you obtain coverage through the Federal or State Marketplace.

The ACA uses the so-called advanced premium tax credits (APTC) to pay for your health insurance premium. An estimated income/tax is used to calculate how much you can ‘advance’ to pay the premiums. The final tax difference will be used to adjust the premium, which will be used to re-calculate your tax.

You can further reduce your healthcare costs through and/or the use of cost sharing reduction (CSR) to lower the amount you have to pay for deductibles, co-payments, and coinsurance. This is called ‘extra savings.’ If you are qualified for CSR, the marketplace portal will only show you silver-level plans.
